10 Discontinued Fast Food Items You Can STILL ORDER!!!

All of us have a favorite item that we always
order at our preferred fast food joint, and it can be quite upsetting when it is suddenly
discontinued. But with the help of an accommodating employee and innovative menu hacking, here
are 10 discontinued fast food items you can still order. The yummy Enchirito from Taco Bell What do you get when you combine two Mexican
classics – an enchilada and a burrito? An ‘Enchirito’, of course! Taco Bell’s
Enchirito is nothing but a soft flour tortilla filled to the seams with beans, beef, onions,
and cheese, and drowned in a lip-smacking red sauce with more melted cheese and olives
on top. This supremely perfect mash-up of a burrito and an enchilada was a Taco Bell
bestseller for many decades. The Enchirito was said to have been the invention of a young
Taco Bell employee from the 1960s. It was first introduced to customers as early as
1968 and was present on the menu in its original form until 1993. After disappearing for a
few years, it came back in 1999 in a slightly altered version, only to vanish again in 2013.
But so popular is the Enchirito that it often pops up on the menu with a different name,
like Smothered Burritos. Taco Bell employees maintain that the Enchirito is one of the
most popular secret menu items ordered by customers in the know! Even though it is no
longer ‘officially’ available on the Taco Bell menu, if you catch an employee in a good
mood and ask nicely, they might actually make one for you! Or you could get a somewhat similar
version of it made to order. Simply ask the employee at the counter for a Smothered Burrito
with beef, red sauce and onions, but without any sour cream. And voila! Your Enchirito
is ready! To get an even more accurate version of the original Enchirito, you could order
a Burrito Supreme with extra cheese and beef filling, minus the tomatoes and lettuce. Next,
ask them to pour the red sauce and melt two extra sides of cheese on top of the burrito.
Top it with some sliced black olives and your Enchirito is served! The super delicious McDonald’s Big N’ Tasty
burger Introduced by McDonald’s to compete with
Burger King’s Whopper sandwich, the Big N’ Tasty was a very popular item on the
menu for quite some time. Though officially discontinued from the U.S. menus of McDonald’s,
many versions of the Big N’ Tasty are still available at international McDonald’s outlets
like those in Sweden, Norway, Latvia, Greece, etc. It was first introduced in 1997 at the
California outlets of McDonald’s and marketed across the U.S. in 2000. It was also a flagship
item of the famous McDonald’s Dollar Menu in 2002. Many stars and celebrities like Kobe
Bryant and Cedric the Entertainer featured in advertisements for the Big N’ Tasty.
Abruptly though, it was taken off the Dollar Menu in 2003 and replaced with the Double
Cheeseburger. It was available on the regular menu until January 1, 2011, after which, it
was completely discontinued. It does reappear on the McDonald’s menus time and again,
but if you’re a fan, you may not be willing to wait for that long. For the uninitiated,
here’s the basic description of a Big N’ Tasty burger – it consisted of a well-seasoned
quarter-pound beef patty, with toppings like mayonnaise, pickles, a tomato slice, onions,
lettuce and a deliciously smoky Big Tasty sauce neatly assembled in a sesame seed bun.
If you find yourself craving this mouth-watering burger, you can still go to your local McDonald’s
and ask a friendly counter staff for it; chances are that they will kindly make it for you.
But if it’s not available at an outlet near you, there’s an easy hack for it! Just order
a Quarter Pounder with cheese, but without any ketchup or mustard. Ask for mayonnaise,
pickles, tomato, onions, and lettuce on the side. All you need now is the delicious Big
Tasty sauce. Since the flavor profile of the Big Mac special sauce is quite similar to
the Big Tasty sauce, it is quite simple to doctor it up and convert it into the Big Tasty
sauce. Just ask the staff for some Big Mac special sauce and BBQ sauce on the side. Mix
the two together to create the magical smoky flavored Big Tasty sauce. Assemble everything
and enjoy your very own Big N’ Tasty burger! Bacon Sundae from Burger King Creamy vanilla ice cream, rich caramel sauce,
dark chocolate fudge, and thick-cut, hardwood smoked bacon – what’s not to love in this
unbelievably delicious Bacon Sundae from Burger King?! This sweet and savory treat was introduced
on the menus of Burger King in the summer of 2012, and surprisingly, it was a smash
hit with customers. People really enjoyed the unusual combination of sweet ice cream
sundae with crunchy savory bacon on top. Despite its heavy calorie count, the Bacon Sundae
had soon become a favorite with bacon lovers everywhere. At first, Burger King introduced
the Bacon Sundae only in Nashville, Tennessee, and later rolled it out across the country.
But almost always, the Bacon Sundae was a seasonal or limited-time offering. If you
are a fan of this discontinued item or even a first-timer, there’s some good news for
you! Though discontinued, you can still order a variant of the Bacon Sundae from the Burger
King menu. You could order either the chocolate fudge sundae with caramel topping on the side,
or order the caramel sundae with chocolate fudge topping on the side. Add in a side of
bacon as well. Now pour the topping on your sundae, crumble the bacon and sprinkle it
on your sundae and enjoy! The fiery Volcano Taco from Taco Bell What makes the Volcano Taco unique is its
red color taco shell. And if you are wondering what makes the Volcano Taco volcanic? Well,
it’s the hot and spicy nacho cheese sauce called ‘Lava Sauce’ that gives the Volcano
Taco its fiery reputation. The Volcano Taco was introduced in late 2008 to customers at
select locations in North America. Owing to its unique red taco shell, the wildly popular
Lava Sauce, and other taco toppings like ground beef and lettuce, the Volcano Taco soon became
a customer favorite. In 2009, it earned a place on the permanent menu of Taco Bell.
But along came the Fiery Doritos Locos Taco in 2013 and bumped off the Volcano Taco from
the menu. Even though it is a discontinued item, there’s a secret hack to ordering
the Volcano Taco. Order a Fiery Doritos Locos Taco and a side of nacho cheese. Make your
own Lava Sauce by mixing in two to three packets of Taco Bell’s Fire Sauce into the nacho
cheese sauce. Pour your self-made Lava Sauce on the taco and enjoy! The only thing missing
from your own version of the Volcano Taco will be the red shell, but the taste is completely
the same. Cinn-A-Stack pancakes from IHOP Imagine a stack of light-as-air pancakes with
mouthwatering cinnamon cream cheese frosting dripping down the sides and a dollop of whipped
cream on top – that’s what IHOP’s Cinn-A-Stack pancakes were; absolutely drool-worthy! These
fluffy stacks of cinnamon goodness became an instant hit with customers and caused quite
an uproar when IHOP abruptly decided to pull it off the menu. So much so that IHOP received
hundreds of angry letters, phone calls, and tweets from customers demanding the reinstatement
of this item on the menu. IHOP eventually gave in a little bit and the Cinn-A-Stack
pancakes made a brief comeback in select outlets of IHOP. But if you’re not lucky enough
to be living near those ‘select outlets’ of IHOP, there’s a brilliant way of ordering
this discontinued menu item. All it needs is some creative menu hacking and a kind soul
in the kitchen! To get started, order a regular stack of buttermilk pancakes and ask for it
to be topped with some cream cheese frosting (which is still used in other IHOP menu items).
For that cinnamon flavor, politely ask the server to layer the cinnamon spread on top
(which is used for Cinnamon Swirl French Toast and Mexican Churro pancakes). Add a scoop
of whipped cream and you are ready to dig into your Cinn-A-Stack pancakes! The deep-fried Pickle-O’s from Sonic Is there anything more comforting than a deep-fried
snack that hits just the right spot between crispy on the outside and juicy and tender
on the inside? One such amazing snack at the popular fast food chain, Sonic, is the Pickle-O’s.
With a catchy name like Pickle-O’s, these little fried chips of dill pickle deliciousness
were a hit with customers, especially in the deep South of the U.S. Though formally discontinued
at other outlets, insiders say that if you squint and look, they might still be available
on the menus of select Sonic outlets, particularly in the Southern U.S. What are Pickle-O’s?
They are nothing but pieces of dill pickles dipped in batter and deep-fried to achieve
golden brown perfection! Introduced in the 1960s, the Pickle-O’s were supposedly borrowed
from a similar Southern classic dish of fried pickles. After enjoying much success down
South, they disappeared soon after and made a brief return in 2003 on the occasion of
Sonic’s 50th anniversary. But it seems that you can still get them, not just in the South,
but elsewhere too. People in the know confirm that though not officially listed on the menu,
Pickle-O’s can still be ordered at almost any Sonic outlet; all you have to do is ask
for them. Hurray! Salted Caramel Mocha Frappuccino from Starbucks The omnipresent Starbucks has enthralled Americans
with many a custom coffee drink over the decades. Like the more recent Unicorn Frappuccino,
Rainbow Refresher and other limited-time offerings, Starbucks manages to pull in even
more customers than the million or more that it already has. If you are a Starbucks fan,
you are sure to have been overjoyed at the prospect of enjoying yet another novelty drink
from your favorite coffee shop. But it can be equally disappointing when that new favorite
drink of yours is taken off the menu without any explanation. One such example is the Salted
Caramel Mocha Frappuccino. While the name itself is a mouthful, this delicious drink
was again a limited-time holiday season offering. It was a delectable blend of coffee, milk,
mocha, caramel, and chocolate with a sea salt topping. Though discontinued some time ago,
insiders maintain that it can still be ordered at your local Starbucks. You just have to
ask for the right drink and mix-ins! Starbucks experts suggest politely asking a patient-looking
barista to customize the Caramel Frappuccino for you. Before they top your drink with whipped
cream and a caramel syrup drizzle, ask for some toffee nut syrup and mocha to be blended
into your drink. As for the sea salt bit, mix some regular salt with a raw sugar packet,
and your sea salt topping is ready! The ooey-gooey Taco Bell Cheesarito Founded in 1962, Taco Bell has been serving
up delightful Mexican-style offerings to Americans for decades now. Especially popular with customers
are their cheese-filled items, and one such yummy item is the Cheesarito. The Cheesarito
was one of the items available on the very first menus of Taco Bell and was well-liked
by customers. It was a modest but tasty dish of a soft tortilla filled with loads of melted
cheese, scallions, and a flavorful taco sauce. It was also a very popular vegetarian option.
But alas, like all good things in life, the Cheesarito’s reign of deliciousness came
to an end when it was discontinued by Taco Bell. But you need not despair for it is still
a part of Taco Bell’s ‘secret menu’. And you can still order it if you know what
to ask for! Though not on the official menu, the Cheesarito is such a legendary item that
most employees would serve it to you without batting an eyelid. Nevertheless, the easiest
way to order it is to ask for a Cheesy Roll Up, which is almost the same as a Cheesarito
minus the scallions and taco sauce. All you have to do is ask for these two missing ingredients
and your Cheesarito is ready! Frings from Jack In The Box Perhaps one of the simplest and easiest-to-assemble
items on the menu of any fast food restaurant would be the Frings from Jack in the Box.
Frings are simply a combination of fries and onion rings served in the same box or bag,
and can be enjoyed with a variety of dipping sauces like ketchup, mayonnaise or mustard.
They were first added to the Jack in the Box menu in 1979 but discontinued soon after in
the early 1980s. While the general public did not seem to care much for them, some customers
became die-hard fans of Frings. The item was even copied by other fast food chains, and
various versions of it were served by Harvey’s, Burger King, etc. Since they are so easy to
put together, you can still order Frings at a Jack in the Box near you. Just order a half-side
of French fries and onion rings each, and politely ask the server to mix up the half
sides together in a box. Your Frings are served! But if the server isn’t in a mood to give
you half sides of fries and onion rings, just order small portions of each and assemble
your own Frings. The Spicy Chicken Biscuit from Chick-fil-A Chick-fil-A’s Spicy Chicken Biscuit has
to be one of the most beloved discontinued fast food items ever. Fans of this scrumptious
breakfast staple have been lamenting its loss ever since it was discontinued in 2016. There’s
even a Twitter handle dedicated to it! The Spicy Chicken Biscuit consisted of a spicy
chicken fillet placed inside a buttery flaky biscuit. While the spicy version of this innovative
breakfast item is available only across 44 cities in the U.S., the non-spicy version
is still widely available everywhere else. If you miss the Spicy Chicken Biscuit just
too much, here’s how you can still order it. With a little extra niceness, the employees
themselves might rustle it up for you. If that doesn’t work, drop by your local Chick-Fil-A
at the sweet spot between breakfast and lunch, around 11 am. Order a spicy sandwich offered
on the lunch menu and politely ask for a leftover biscuit from the breakfast menu. Put the two
together and presto, your Spicy Chicken Biscuit is ready! Order up more by staying right here. Just

My favorite thing at Taco Bell was always the combo burrito. Beef, cheese, beans, red sauce and onions. They took it off the menu like last year. If you order a bean burrito and add beef its the same, and cheaper than the orig

No you can't still order the enchirito, even with hacks. We don't even have black olives and they aren't drowning the burrito in red sauce.
This is coming from a employee.

If you want a big and tasty, just order a quarter pound deluxe. It's literally the same sandwich.

I'd bet that at 99.9% of fast food places you'd get blank stares from every employee if you asked for any of these followed by "we can't do that" if you asked for the required customization of a menu item OR, in the best case, a long wait to get your custom items with the ingredient proportions completely wrong.

Consumers are cursed. I had only joked at a suspicion I had that when the companies find out I/we like something they discontinue it. Someone caught onto this after it had become commonplace so now we obey the rule that is if you like something, buy 12 of it. Chances are it'll be gone tomorrow.

Starbucks is a joke. It's over priced and just a waist of time to even go to.

The Arch Deluxe from McDonalds; the "Grilled cheese bacon burger" from Carl's jr. Chicken mcnuggets when they were dark meat instead of white (yes…they were better that way).

The volcano taco: "the only thing missing from your volcano taco will be the red shell". The hack uses a fiery Doritos locos taco which has a red shell.

I miss the chili burrito from taco bell. They no longer seem to have chili at all, so looks like no hack in sight.

just a heads up , the Big N Tasty is not the same thing as the Big Tasty. The big tasty had the smoky sauce , the Big N Tasty didn’t. it was essentially a quarter lb deluxe

Idk who runs your comment response team, but most of your “responses” are pushy “DID YOU LIKE THE VIDEO?” “DID YOU SHARE THE VIDEO?” And don’t get me started on the smart replies “you can’t get this at tacobell” “OKAY”

Dairy Queen is a magical place for ordering discontinued items. As long as the Dairy Queen has the ingredients you can order pretty much anything DQ has ever offered; it's how I can still order a Buster Bar Blizzard even though it isn't on the menu.
