3 Major Things That Will Kill Your Weight Loss

– You quit getting on the scale. You quit drinking your water. You start allowing things to sneak in. Well, you can’t. You think you’re gonna skirt the rules? Ain’t nobody getting out of the rules. If you start breaking any of
these three rules, you’re done. One of my biggest rules is you’ve got to get on the scale each day. If you quit getting on the scale, then you are not aware of
how bad things are getting. Look, the scale is one of many ways to measure progress and good health. It’s not the only way, but it
is the first line of defense when it comes to keeping your weight down. When you get on the scale in the morning, that scale is gonna tell you that whatever you did the
night before was good or bad, so you either need to repeat
it or stay away from it. If you don’t get on that
scale, if you avoid it and days go by and your
weight keeps creeping up, you don’t know what
caused the weight gain. You don’t know how to fix it. So we get on the scale every day. So by you stopping, that means you’re gonna
stick your head in the sand and act like there ain’t no problem. Bull crap. You’ve gotta get on that scale. You’ve gotta own up to the bull
crap you put in your mouth, good or bad, so get on
the scale every day. Don’t ever stop that. One of the other major things that will kill your weight loss
is stop drinking your water. Yeah, every time, every time
it’ll kill your weight loss if you stop drinking your water. Why? Because when you stop drinking your water, you become dehydrated and your body sends
signals that it’s hungry, but it’s really not
hungry, it’s just thirsty. And you’re gonna start getting a headache. You’re gonna start getting
less energy, a drop in energy. It’s not good to stop drinking your water. Another thing that will kill
your weight loss is starting to allow little things to sneak in. And I’ve seen this happen
so many times over and over, and you’ve watched it happen on The Biggest Loser contestants when those guys have
gained back their weight. Yeah, well, they think it’s just one, and it’s just one little bite here, one little nibble here,
one little taste here. But the one little whatevers add up, and you’ve got your weight
coming back on, right? So allowing little things
to sneak in is detrimental. You could have a plate
of cupcakes left over on your counter from your
kid’s birthday party, and you think you’re all
strong and you got this, right? Well, you don’t got this, all right. You’re gonna walk by. You’re gonna walk by that plate 50 times. But I promise you, your
willpower will wane, you will give in, and
you will have a cupcake. So you cannot allow
junk food in your house. You cannot allow little nibbles, bites, and tastes to sneak in. It will kill your weight loss. If you’re ready to be a Code Red rebel refusing to live your

The worst part for me is that my sorority only has a limited amount/type of food. I've been doing my best but its hard to keep up with it when I can't even make my own food.

I couldn't have said this better myself! People always quote the everything in moderation bull crap. I'm not being hyper vigilant by refusing to allow old habits to sneak in.

Cristy, do you have suggestions for folks that work swing shifts and are forced to eat late in the evening? My weight gain began when I started working the 11 to 7:30 shift. I am getting home around 8pm and then eating dinner. Any tips?

I absolutely love this video! I was considering giving in to a 4 ounce glass of dry white wine this evening with dinner. But instead I clicked on your video! And now this rebel is fighting!
