A Nutrition Plan With No Restrictions? | The Reason for Code Red Lifestyle Rules

– If you’re focusing on
what you’re restricting, you’ve already started
yourself off on the wrong foot. The truth is, you can
have a nutrition plan without restrictions. But it’s not what you think. (upbeat music) It all starts with what
you choose to focus on, the mindset you adopt. And this goes for anything in life. Do you wanna live a life
of freedom or restraint? If the answer is freedom,
I have a resource for you that you can download for
free in the link below. One of the main issues
that people on Code Red come to me with is they feel
restricted with the rules. This isn’t about restricting you. It’s about educating
you with the knowledge that you need to empower
you to make the choices based on your goal. For example, some people
say, “Well, I can’t believe “I feel restricted because
I can’t have bread.” Well, here’s the reason why. And this is why I educate you. The reason why you can’t
have bread is because it’s gonna spike your insulin
and what do I always say? You cannot lose weight in
the presence of insulin, bread does you no favors. And plus for every one gram
of carbs that you consume, your body hangs on to
almost four grams of water. So if you consume that bread, that’s gonna cause you to feel bloated, you’re not gonna feel your best, and you’re not gonna reach your goal. So if I educate you on the reasons, then now you feel empowered, and now you’re able to make
the choice on your own, ’cause now you know why. The reason why you started on
Code Red in the first place is because you wanted to make a change, because you knew that the
road you were going down wasn’t healthy, and you wanted
to get off of that road. A lot of times I tell people,
“Look, what’s the alternative? “To go back to being fat, to
go back to your old ways?” because that’s what you choose
if you don’t choose my rules. The bottom line is you
wanna get this weight off, you came to me, you told me you wanna get the weight
off once and for all. That you don’t wanna go
around this mountain again. So guess what? You’re gonna to follow a few set of rules, you’re gonna need to pay
the piper and later on, I will teach you how
to live in maintenance. But the bottom line is
you gotta pay the piper, you’re gonna have to have some rules. I think the Code Red rules
are the easiest rules to live with for the rest of your life. You compare our program to other programs. Yeah, no, we’re the best out there. You can view it as a restriction, or you can view it as a choice. I can’t stop you from
eating that piece of cake or going for the McDonald’s run. Ultimately, it’s up to you. You can choose to focus
on the restrictions, or you can choose to focus
on what it’s giving you in return, allowing you
to still eat delicious, nutritious real food while giving you the freedom of good health and energy. Look who complains about eggs and bacon. Come on eggs and bacon, eggs and bacon. There’s nothing wrong with that. That’s delicious, that’s good. Asparagus, steak, cottage
cheese, cream cheese. Guys, this is real food. This stuff tastes amazing. I can’t believe someone
would complain about that. How could you complain about shrimp? How could you complain about
avocados and macadamia nuts? It’s absolutely divine what
we get to eat on Code Red. I don’t, I can’t imagine
any other way of life. Every day you make the choice
to stay away from things that are bad for you because
you know the consequences. Is that a restriction or is that a choice? I’m not gonna coddle you and tell you that if you’re feeling restricted, you can have that cookie as
long as you just have one. If you wanna keep viewing healthy choices as a restriction and a sacrifice,
I really cannot help you. But if you are ready to
choose instead to see the abundance and life
that is waiting for you to take a hold of, I
have a program for you. Download the mindset manifesto today and learn how to get connected. If you liked this video,
please give it a thumbs up and better yet, subscribe to my channel, that way you are notified
when I release a new video. But listen, I wanna hear from you. Comment below and tell me what freedoms have you
experienced from Code Red? What freedom instead of restrictions have you had happen to you? Put it in the box, I wanna hear from you and I’ll see you on the next video. (upbeat music)

This is a great plan. With your help, I started documenting everything I put in my mouth. Once I did that I was able to say "what CAN I have to reach my goals"? For example: I needed to add more fats to my daily intake so I was able to look through the list of foods I can have and make the best choice for me and the plan you wrote for me. Thanks Cristy. Your rules are life changing.
