    Frank Hu authored a separate paper where the replacement of saturated fat with nut fat caused a 45% reduced risk of heart disease.

    How about 395? This meta-analysis of 395 metabolic ward trials concludes:
    "replacing 60% of saturated fats by other fats and avoiding 60% of dietary cholesterol would reduce blood total cholesterol by about 0.8 mmol/l (that is, by 10-15%), with four fifths of this reduction being in low density lipoprotein cholesterol."
    And we know that lifetime reductions of LDL dramatically reduce the risk for heart disease:
    "Sequence Variations in PCSK9, Low LDL, and Protection against Coronary Heart Disease"

    Whats the name of the meta-analysis of 395 trials called?

    I'm not saying oleic and alpha linolenic acids are not healthy I'm saying most forms of saturated fat and cholesterol are not inherently unhealthy. Just because a measly 10-15% reduction in serum cholesterol drops does not mean they're anymore or less at risk of heart disease.

    The 'causation' of heart disease has yet to be established and isn't explained through a reductionist view of serum cholesterol alone.

    Where did I say that heart disease could be explained through cholesterol alone? There are clearly other factors such as stress and inflammation, but cholesterol being a major risk factor is accepted by the majority of medical institutions throughout the world. 10-15% is not measly, and that's also just for 60% saturated fat and cholesterol. If someone went 60-100%, the difference would be more dramatic.

    Site the study and the parameters of all aspects such as weight of the black walnuts vs the weight of the 'english' variety. What region where the walnuts grown, and age, weight , health and other medical factors of the participants. Please a full outline of your claims so to add value to them.

    Can too much fat from nuts clog arteries? I know that too much calories from anything will be stored as fat, but my question is about the healthy fats from nuts, seeds and avocadoes: if consumed in large quanities will the fat be stored inside adipocytes or as arteriosclerosis? if anybody has an answer i would greatly appreciate it
