Chocolate Smoothie Recipe

1 quart water
blender on slow
6 Tbsp whole flaxseeds
1/2 cup walnuts
6 Tbsp Cocoa Powder
3 oz Coconut milk/cream
3 oz whipping cream
3 oz sour cream
1 tsp himalayan salt
3/4 tsp stevia
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 avocado
2 raw eggs optional
put top on
turn up to full power
ice (enough to fill blender)
blend until ice is crushed
yummy and kid approved
we reuse kombucha bottles
very filling
great for on the go
nutrition/bottle: 40g fat, 12.5g protein,
4.2g net carbs, 425 calories
calories by %: 84% fat, 12% protein, 4% carbs

    That vitamix is a beast!!! do you find it get the flax seed ground up enough while suspended in water? I usually grind mine first even though I use a vitamix too… smoothies are so wonderful! Thank you for sharing your recipe

    You can always substitute the dairy with coconut cream. Sometimes I add including some kale and spinach in the smoothie to add more vegetables into my diet.

    Hello Dr. Ekberg! I have a question concerning RAW EGGS. How can I distinguish healthy raw eggs from contaminated ones? I am aware of some benefits of eating raw eggs but I am reluctanct to do so because I fear to get ill from them (e.g. salmonella infection). Just recently I came across your channel – informative, with logical and evidence-based argumentation and really interesting!
