031 – 6 Amazing Benefits Of Lemon Water
How to Lose Fat the Right Way (MEN VS WOMEN!)
Thank you for your honesty and integrity. I can’t tell you how many times I have fallen for one of these products since I want to lose weight. Now I have cut out refined sugar and refined carbs and have noticeable results.
Peppermint tea with honey, its not a detox, but it tastes good and helps a sore throat.
100% of cancer patients have reported consuming the chemical dihydrogen monoxide daily. DO NOT CONSUME THIS POISON
Thank god someone said it!
I actually drink detox WATER. For those who like flavored water, just citrus or strawberry sitting in water. Make sure fruits are organic/nonGMO
I wonder if people believe in this because of how the body "shrinks" after 48h of eating healthy (which is usually what people do as soon as they start a detox). I know that during holiday season, when I eat a lot of "crap", I weigh myself after Christmas I gained like 5lbs/2.5kg, and when I put a stop to it and eat small healthy portions, after two days, on the scale, I only weigh about 1lbs/0.5kg more than I used to. And that much weight in fat is not lost in 2 days, so it's probably water retention. But if if happens with people who start doing healthy stuff along with detox tees, that might reinforce the idea that it works? I do wonder: what makes the body retain more fluids and feel swollen when you eat bad stuff for a while? During christmas time, it's mostly sweets, and not salt, so where does that water retention come from, Dr Mike?
Why can't I like this more than one measly time??
Ive heard you talk so much about how supplememts dont work, but does that include green powderd juice like garden of life raw organics?
I will never understand how people think a type of tea can "detox" you while you literally have organs that do it for you.
So are supplements bad?
Do video about "how to stop addiction to coffee"
every intro the heart dies
I often come visit brain hospital to accompany someone from time to time, and saw a stand for "Brain/nerve supplement", I immediately was like, "Oh no… Hopefully they actually work and are not trying to sell false hope to those who's desperate from nerve damage"
The things people do to make money.
Keep this in mind to anyone who follows Tati and her Halo supplements. Listen to Dr Mike!
you didn't say BEEWOOOP
Have you actually had people try to sell their detox products to so you can sell then in your office?
Okay I KNOW you get the flirtatious comments ALL the time but after watching this video I really just fell in love 😍 lol I'm a new subscriber and have been going through your vids to form a personal opinion about you and so far we're very like minded 🤩🤟 keep making the world a better place!!!!
I am one billion percent here for this. TELL IT LIKE IT IS!!!!
the best detox tea would be blueberry tea (if it exists and not just.. flavouring)

Here’s a short list of dangerous natural substances:
Just because it’s natural, doesn’t make it safe.
Hi Dr Mike what is a Whipple procedure and effect of it
Thank you for not being Doctor oz
Socrates…Drink your hemlock. Its natural!
what's your take on ionic foot detox? do you think it really pulls out toxins through your feet?
Wondering if you could do a video on CoQ10. Amazingly, my Board Certified Invasive Cardiologist has recommended it in my case. So, is this the only exception to the "supplements as quackery" rule? (Fish oil not withstanding. LOL)
To detox I just watch a quick Doctor Mike video! Works everytime!
Hi Doctor Mike – Do you have a minute to speak about our lord and savior, Herbalife? 🥴🤣🥴

My best friend gets these kinds of products all the time, and tries to get me to get them all the time too. She has good intentions and all, but I think that the only reason why she and so many others 'feel better' is because of the placebo effect, I guess. But, I dunno, I'm not really an expert on this kind of stuff…
Thank you 🙏
A friend once recommended me a Kusmi “BB Detox” tea. I looked at him like he was an idiot, then he said “I know, I know, detox is bullshit, but that tea is DELICIOUS!”And does it have to be anything more than that? I have read that tea (particularly green) is good for you (far from being a panacea tho), and since it has great taste, we tend to drink more of it, which helps us be hydrated (and seems like most people don’t drink enough daily), also, drinking before meals makes us eat less. So in that way – yay teas.
Why you make these "boring" videos about health so interesting to ppl like me….thank you so much. I am learning so much with you. You are too awesome not to learn from Doctor Mike. 😀 What can I say????
Are there really idiots who follow the advice given by morons like Kim Kardashian…?
Listen to science, he's a pretty smart guy.
I am giving you a standing ovation right now.
Do you have a video on CBD?
Keep fighting the good fight, Dr. Mike. 🙂
You are HOT 😍
By supplements do you mean like vitamin pills and magnesium pills?
I went to my university clinic for fatigue problem. And before my blood test result the doctor recommended me to buy some Vitamin D supplement downstairs at Walgreen. So is that a collusion?
I'd love for you to do a vid about essential oil scams, and how dangerous ingesting oils can be.
Can your react to a video called “ Detox your body in 3 steps by Subah Jain ”
My deadhead friend insists on only buying organic, non-gmo, pesticide free this and that, won't eat red meat or pork, etc but still smokes a pack of American Spirits every day
Snake oil is an all natural, locally sourced, artisanal treatment.
When I hear "detox", I somehow immediately think of one thing…
Poison. Like a poison in a syringe that is forcefully stuck into some unwilling person's arm and injected into their bloodstream. I don't know… It sounds like some kind of horrible drug to me. A drug, a poison, a venom, something like that.
What's drink that non-fat, no sugar, no calories, and natural?
That's so much better than "detox teas".
Some subliments do work but not for detox I'm talking about doctor prescribed vitamins i had to take some and more than one doctor recommend it i took ones prescribed by my doctor not some bogus one
So u telling me that ginger tea and other fda approved teas don’t work???
Love the fact you do not sell out! Really taught me a lot with your video's. Edit: Legit fangirling haha Greetings from Holland Mike!
It works… To make money 😹
“Detox teas and miracle supplements are bull sh*t” 😂😂😂😂😂 Amen.
Doctor Mike binge 2019💙
I would like to see you handle the psychiatry and psychiatric drugs with this same fervor. #1, lets start with, there is no test for chemical imbalance in the brain, then maybe move onto the fact that the gut makes many chemicals such as serotonin. Psychiatry is a scam, aligned with medicine to make itself look legit
Yes, good upload!
The only reason, I think, to take a supplement is when it is advised by a physician. Due to certain conditions, my blood tests were done and it was found that I could not make sufficient Vitamin D, among others. I was also anemic.
So? I took supplements as I was asked, had a blood test 6 months later, and once my levels returned to normal, I was asked to no longer take them (as regularly as I had).
Other than a medical condition where you can't absorb nutrients or some other disease, my doctor informed me that people actually get poisoned by taking Iron tablets when they do not need to, and it can cause terrible problems.
tl;dr trust the person who spent 9 years studying in his field over a company that wants to maximise profits.
Oof my mother believes in detox teas, no vaccines, AND essential oils. Could there be anything worse?
Dr. Mike’s passion for medicine and practicing real healing is so inspirational! I wish more medical professionals were like this.
Then again Dr. Mike medicine was first made from a plant's, flowers, and herbs.
what if the detox tea is home made natural like mint lemon tea 😅
This is so true. Also for diets sometimes. Sometimes, because everyone is different. For me, All I have to do is eat a little less, and I lose weight. I don't recommend this, it could hurt you if you don't eat a lot. For it to work in my experience, You still have to eat, but eat a little less. If you don't eat, you develop an eating disorder. But, don't trust me with your diet, you need to go to your doctor and ask if it works for you.
Edit: If you don't eat at ALL, you could GAIN WEIGHT.
On point even on the box of detox tea it says theses statements have not been evaluated by the FDA.
I actually have a "detox" tea called "Super Detox" in my collection. I got it from a local little family tea shop that makes their own lose leaf tea mixes. It's no more expensive than their other mixes and I know it doesn't do anything special but I just love the flavor. It's a green tea, white tea, lemongrass, ginger, nettle and matcha mix that just tastes great and refreshing. The owners themselves freely tell people that while tea has it's health benefits, it's not a miracle drug and for serious matters to go consult your doctor.
You are a legend bro I have minor symptoms of aneurysm nothing too serious and I have been following your actual guide to how green tea is good for you I feel so much better day 3 of drinking some nice room temperature natural afghan green tea
Does biotin really help skin, hair and nails?
Not detox, but along the supplement line, what do you think about protein powders?
I still remember the time at a camp when a friend (who was trying to put peppermint oil/some other sort of oil around our beds to ward off large spiders and bugs) spilled some of it into one of my eyes while I was laying down, and it dripped into the other one. I was half-blind with excruciating pain I couldn't help for a solid five minutes or so, and her response to my alarm was "It's natural, you're going to be fine!"
I think that's when it clicked for me natural =/= painless and perfect
Hey Dr. Mike! Can you give us your opinion and knowledge surrounding essential oils. What are your thoughts on Doterra medical clinics being opened specifically to treat people with essential oils/holistic medicine. Is there really any medical benefit to using oils? Are doctors really endorsing this?
Now, if you can get "Doctor Oz" to remember his ethics…
what about supplements that contain one ingredient? excluding the ingredient used to make the actual pill case? like cayenne pepper supplements? that has helped with my metabolism.. lemon with ginger or just ginger tea has been helping me use the bathroom.. I heard a lot about apple cider vinegar! I cant drink it cause now it makes me sick…. headaches and lightheaded but I take the pill form and im fine…
I own exactly one detox tea, from Palais des Thés. And that's 100% because I think it tastea good. I treat it just like any other it my 30 teas.
Malaysia have a lot of founder claiming their product is natural with 1 millions herb blend in one package in the end costumer who trapped with fake testimonials get their kidney failure
Sulfuric Acid is natural but I don't see why you would want to down a glass of it.
Thank you. Just, thank you.
dang that was some speach.. you should be a public speaker or something
Did you know if you don’t wear a seatbelt your risk of dying of cancer decreases?
They don’t detoxify your body but they do deplete you of essential nutrients and healthy bacteria in your gut. Yay!
I’m sure the people in flint Michigan would drink a cup of detox tea than water any day. There are drugs the fda approves that are more far more dangerous than a cup of tea I can personally attest to that because I’ve been a victim of some of those doctor prescribed drugs. So is the real issue that people are making false claims about what the product does.
Eb57551 second agoLOL PEOPLE LIKE ME AND THERE ARE MILLIIONS OF US WHO HAVE CHRONIC AND UNDIAGNOSED ILLNESSES DONT USE REGULAR MEDICAL DOCTORS REGULAR WESTERN DOCTORS ARE FUCKING AWFUL FOR CHRONIC CONDITIONS. READ THE THOUSANDS AND MILLIONS OF STORIES OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN FAILED BY THESE SO CALLED "MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS"" ALSO MEDICINE IS NOT A SCIENCE IN MANY CASES AND MOST MD'S USE VERY LITTLE SCIENCE AND JUST HAND OUT PRESCRIPTIONS! ALSO ALTHOUGH THERE ARE SOME NATURAL AND ALTERNATIVE SUPPLEMENTS AND HERBS THAT ARE NOT HIGH QUALITY AND LIKELY UNSAFE THERE ARE TENS AND TENS OF MORE PRESCRIPTION DRUGS THAT ARE EXTREMELY UNSAFE AND ARE KNOWN TO CAUSE DAMAGE SUCH AS PROTON PUMP INHIBITORS, ANTIPSYCHOTICS, ETC. SO JUST BECAUSE SOMETHING IS A PRESCRIPTION DOES NOT MEAN IT IS SAFE!!!
My favorite detox is a shotgun just clears everything out
I wrote an answer for an exam question last school year (yr 9) on Jameela and the issue you talked of, it’s so important for us to use natural things like diet, rather than a chemical pill to ‘slim’ you down, it’s disgusting that influencers use their fame to damage fans that care for them
I have a quick question. Directed preferably to Dr. Mike or another Doctor. So if detox drinks and teas do not help cleanse your body. How is it detox drinks for drug tests work? I know of people who have drank detox drinks and passed a THC drug test. While they were still high. I also know people who drink apple cider vinegar for 3 days and pass drug tests. I use those as examples because THC stays in your system so long. So do those just mask a positive result?
My favorite detox is a glass of water + ginger or garlic, in my views natural means foods that we are eating since the stone age.
this! 100% this!
Why am i getting an essential oils ad on a Dr Mike video?
Finally. I hve got an amazing idol! (The best)
I do not drink detox tea but I agree with you Mike
I've gotten in to so many arguments about this topic. At a rehab they gave me niacin and put me in a sauna to sweat the "toxins" out. All it did was cause a burning sensation from the niacin. They just wouldn't accept that there are no stored toxins in ur body that u need niacin and a extreme hot temperatures to get out.
Doctor Mike working ethically and agreeing with Jameela Jamil is honestly therapeutic
Weight loss is all about diet and exercise. There are some home remedies I truly believe in though.
Ginger and lemon tea is great for soothing a sore throat and cough. So is raw honey, but the benefit seems short lived.
One thing I will make when sick is a bowl of chicken noodle soup. I will add cayenne pepper and a clove of garlic after the soup cools a bit. Something about cooking garlic apparently breaks down a beneficial compound.
Garlic shortening a cold is not very well studied, but it is known for its anti-viral properties. Now by the time the chemical in garlic gets to your blood, it is heavily diluted, so I would consider it a help more than a miracle cure.
Really, the main benefit of garlic is its anti-inflammatory properties. A lot of discomfort from illness is caused by inflammation.
Cayenne pepper can help clear your sinuses and cause the release of endorphins.
I don’t know how some people buy into these scams, but some remedies have a bit of truth to them. Though no cure alls yet.
"Nature does not mean safe" what a superb line.
I started drinking “ Total Tea” it’s a detox tea. A co worker said HER Dr told her to drink it. I started drinking it every night but then started getting diarrhea really bad & cramps & my stomach was SO bloated. I stopped drinking it & it took a while for everything to go back to normal. Never again am I drinking that garbage.
And don't forget "Natural" isn't always natural at all. MANY companies have been busted for having prescription drugs in their "natural" products (you can search the database at the FDA website archive for product recalls and see many examples). 🙁 Anything to make a buck and they don't care who is harmed along the way. I have no problem with using certain natural remedies, but know where you are getting them, how they are produced, and avoid any product using "hype" marketing. Even the most natural of substances can have side effects. Discuss anything you are taking with a competent health care professional who is familiar with supplements and natural remedies. Make sure your prescriber knows what you are taking BEFORE taking with prescribed medications, as many natural substances can interfere with or interact with prescription medicines. Knowledge is power. Arm yourself.
No matter where to go first thing avoid scammers 😀
