This is NOT as "yummy" as my own recipe!!! I don't put rice in my cabbage invultinis!!! And, I use the green cabbage with those "bumpy" brainlike forms with them, they are much tastier!!! I use my ground meat pure, with eggs, flour and nuts! then, put a bechamel sauce on top, with some grated cheeze!

in Iran we make it with grape leaves and we add keshmesh or dried grapes in the mixture . I think in turkey it is prepared the same way as in Iran 💐💐

Like great! The only thing I don’t like about stuffed cabbage is that I like my foods rinsed. So I have to rinse the leaves after it’s boiled, and I can’t use the water that they were boiled in to bake them in the oven.

This is a new way of cooking stuff cabbage. My mother-in-law makes it the Jordanian way with uncooked rice and lemon juice in the sauce no tomatoes or sour cream. Have you ever make it that way. I'm going to try your way but I know my husband he likes his moms way best. Thank for sharing.

I don't know why you saying 1 kg of mince if the pot you have fit only half of that. I had to make 2 pots of these with 1kg of mince and 6 cups of rice!!!!!. Also filling lack some spices big times. Marinara doesn't do a good job and it taste very plain for that amount of mince and rice there should be more then just marinara.. very basic and plain. Didn't like it. P.S Russian grandmothers never even heard about Marinara
