one of my favorite beverages around the
holidays is eggnog and if you guys are wondering how to make keto eggnog you
can click on this video up here it will show you how to do it or down below in
the description box I’ll have a link to the website recipe but a lot of times I
like to make my keto eggnog for holiday parties or for Christmas Eve and
sometimes I have leftovers so I’m going to show you how to make an eggnog keto
chaffle with all of your leftover eggnog so let’s get started to make the eggnog
chaffle it does require that you pre make some keto eggnog but don’t worry the
eggnog only takes about five minutes to make so if you didn’t make any eggnog
ahead of time you can still make it Christmas morning if you want to have
these delicious eggnog chaffles and we’re also going to be topping our
chaffles with a cream sauce so make sure you stay tuned to see how I make that
cream sauce in a small bowl you’re gonna add one egg
one ounce of cream cheese 1/4 cup of keto eggnog 2 tablespoons of coconut
flour 2 teaspoons of monk fruit a half a teaspoon of baking powder and a quarter
teaspoon of rum extract you also want to add in a pinch of salt and a pinch of
nutmeg just for some flavor you want to mix these together and I recommend using
an electric mixer just because it gets all of that cream cheese all broken up
and smooth once your batters combined we’re gonna
pour it in a waffle maker and the waffle maker that I’m gonna use today is this
one by Dash so this is a mini Dash waffle maker but they have a snowflake one out
now so it’s their seasonal pattern it’s a snowflake it’s just perfect for
Christmas so this is the one I’m gonna be using I’ll have it linked down below
on where you can purchase this you want to pour about a third of your batter
into the waffle maker close it and let it cook for a couple of minutes now when
it comes to chaffles are made using cream cheese
they don’t really crisp up like a regular waffle they stay like a spongy
cake like consistency but I think that’s great because they just remind me of
eating cake now that our eggnog chaffles are done cooking it’s time to make that
eggnog cream sauce in a small bowl we’re gonna add a quarter cup of heavy
whipping cream and you want to start beating this until it starts to get a
little foamy and then add in 1/4 cup of keto eggnog 2 teaspoons of powdered your
risk-free tall I like to use swerve from my powdered erythritol a quarter
teaspoon of rum extract and a pinch of nutmeg and you want to continue whipping
this together until it’s slightly thickened and then you can pour this over your
chaffles you don’t have to the pour the entire cream sauce if you don’t want to
I’m gonna have the full macros listed down below for you guys make sure you
make these on Christmas morning I think I am just because I know I’m making some
kedo eggnog and so I’m probably gonna have some leftovers because I make a
bunch of it and like to spike it speaking of which you could probably
spike the cream sauce too if you wanted with real rum I hope you guys enjoyed
