How Bulletproof Coffee Fits into a Keto Diet

One of the many teachings of the keto diet is to incorporate healthy
fats into your diet system. Today, tune in because
I’m gonna be explaining how you can incorporate
a Bulletproof coffee into your daily routine, what to use, and I’m gonna share my
personal recipe with you. (upbeat music) First off, what is Bulletproof coffee? Bulletproof coffee was developed by a guy named Dave Asprey, and it’s nothing more than using a fat, a healthy fat, to put in
your coffee in the morning. You can use ghee, you can use butter, you can use MCT oil, coconut oil, or any other type of fat. Personally, I like to
do Bulletproof coffee when I’m on a keto
intermittent fasting diet. I am a big fan, however, of reducing your carbohydrate intake on a daily basis. The reason why I like to
do Bulletproof coffee, and sometimes I’ll even
use coffee alternatives so I’m not drinking
coffee every single day, and there’s a lot of coffee
alternatives out there that you could use that
are low carbohydrate that are going to be beneficial
for you on a keto diet. That’s kinda one of the reasons why people do Bulletproof coffee. Number one is the fats are healthy. The MCT oil or the coconut
oil actually can help you produce ketones, and you use ketones for
fuel on a ketogenic diet. And it keeps you full for a
certain period of the day, you know, especially if you’re
doing intermittent fasting and you’re not gonna eat
anything until 11 a.m. This kind of sets in your stomach, gives you a little bit
of energy for the day. So now let’s get to my secret
Bulletproof coffee recipe that I developed over the years. But I start by using a
unsweetened macadamia nut milk. So I start with frothing
the macadamia nut milk. I’ve already brewed my cup of coffee with pure filtered water and
certified organic coffee. This is actually MCT oil here. Now, I can either use
the milk and the MCT oil or I could use either one
individually if I wanted to. Like I said earlier, I like to stay away from using dairy. Dairy will cause
inflammation in the bowel. Now, once my milk is done frothing, I’ll go ahead and add
that into the coffee. Now what I like to do is add a little bit of monkfruit
fruit for flavoring. I like monkfruit because stevia has a little bit of an after taste to it. I also like to add some cinnamon in. Cinnamon is a great
healing herb and spice. Next, I like to add in the Turmeric. Now this is a product that we produce, and I usually add about one dropper full of turmeric extract. Now all of this is zero
calories and zero sugar. Then I’ll stir it up, and that is my plant-based recipe, low carbohydrate Bulletproof coffee. It’s healthy, it’s great
for you in the morning, start the day off right. What do you guys think
about Bulletproof coffee? Have you tried it? Have you tried going keto? Have you tried intermittent fasting? I would love to hear your results. I would love to hear your recipes. Please post them in the

Thank you for sharing your recipe for your #BulletproofCoffee! I have been doing everything possible to keep coffee in my daily Keto initiative. Now, I won't have to start my day trying to rationalize (aka lie 2 myself) re, drinking and enjoying a robust and creamy cup of coffee.

You are the second YouTube Health channel to tell me about the dairy inflammation… And only in the past few weeks I've heard that… back in June I ate too many peanuts and the toxins I guess attacked my intestines and talk about pain and inflammation… Took me 7 months to get rid of it… after 5 months I was mostly healed but 5 to 10% lingering inflammation and pain here and there… Then the lady that delivers the non-pasteurized cheese milk and yogurt every few days right to my door, well she didn't show up for almost a month and then that is when I completely healed and heard about the inflammation from the dairy… Now I do it in moderation…. I was using the yogurt to heal me but it was creating pain and inflammation… Adios from the mountains of Guatemala Lake Atitlan

I'm not sure why people keep pushing COFFEE? COFFEE Isn't good for you, it naturally dehydrates you and it's addictive! There have been many studies done in Utah ,and it's not good for you!

Ok, my bulletproof coffee has cafe bustelo coffee, pyure stevia,1/4tsp., half tsp. butter and coconut oil. Sometimes i put collagen peptides in it. Ive also used L glutamine, and or ashwaghanda, and few drops cinnamon oil or powder. Its not bad. It took me a while to get use to putting the butter and oil in. Sometimes i use calcium orotate in it. The collagen peptides i use give it a nice earthy taste. I guess now ill have to try the macadamia milk.sounds good. Take care.

I LOVE this! Thanks for sharing your recipe. I drink 1-2 Bulletproof Coffee's a week. I use XCT, Hazelnut Almond milk creamer and a dash of Swerve. I became Vegan about 4 years ago after learning about some health issues I was having. About 3 weeks ago I just recently made the switch to Keto (still no dairy). I am already feeling a change but I think my body is still telling me something and I cannot quite figure it out. I have battled digestive issues my whole life and I still haven't been able to get things going. I am so eager to try your Cleanse products and am saving up the money to invest.
