How to KETO: Cut out carbs and Do the Math to Succeed!

Thanks so much for subscribing to my
channel really appreciate you stopping by It’s Lynette with you so how do we
practice Keto? Well I’ve just attended a workshop over the weekend, the first of
an eight part series and here are the Key takeaways: you need to cut out carbs
completely and that means no rice, no noodles, no pasta, no breads, no cakes no
biscuits, no corn, no sugar, no life, I know! So what can you eat? Well you are
supposed to take in a lot of good fat and that includes things like olive oil,
coconut oil, avocado oil, butter and lard And how much of it to consume? Well I
actually have a formula and I took this off Kelly’s book And it’s really your
ideal weight times three, in grams. So say my ideal weight is 45kg so times three that’s 135 grams of good fat that I should consume every day so that translates to about
9.5 tablespoons of good fat And how much protein to take? Well that
is again tied to your ideal weight so say I’m 45 kg so ideally I should
consume about 45 grams of protein every day and that includes things like eggs,
meats and seafood and that’s it So simple that’s how you convert or change your body into a fat-burning machine and Take lots of fluids of course and if
you found that helpful do keep watching and keep your questions coming in
the comments section below and I’ll be sure to check in with the experts. In the
meantime, you have a great day!
