    JLo's trainer is on point. After the last holiday cookie on New year's Eve, the only sugar I use (in limited amounts) is in one cup of coffee with a bit of milk to lighten. I have trained myself from avoid soda, pastries, cookies, McDonald's burgers, shakes and fries and candy since the new year and I've lost close to 8 lbs. My size 14 jeans are sagging on me. As for carbs, I rarely eat bread, pasta or rice bc my husband is a diabetic. It's amazing that I can now pass a bowl of candy bars and not lose my mind. I discovered that I love veggies. I have more energy. I walk 2-2.5 miles per day indoors due to weather and also hoop for fitness and plan to introduce weights and more cardio in a week. I was diagnosed with prediabetes in October 2018. I can't wait to get my fasting blood glucose checked again in two more months. Anyway, It's low sugar low carbs for life.

    Jennifer Lopez sounds like a sweetheart. I'm 44, and feel like a work out battery. I can feel the inflammation in my legs and joints. Besides sugar, aging is killing us all. We can live till 120, but the body decays rapidly after fourty. Liz Parrish is the first woman that has reversed her aging through gene therapy injections. These celebrities can afford it because their rich. It doesn't matter how well we eat or exercise. The human joints give out at a certain point. J love if you read this, look into what Liz Parrish has done. I can't afford it, I'm a common citizen.

    Awesome! I didn't have sugar for 2 years. No chips. No bread. I ate only grilled chicken, steamed broccoli and loaded mashed potatoes at Chili's for 2 years. I felt great! I did eat the salsa and chips as an appetizer. I went to marry my husband from another country and I started putting sugar in my hot tea. It made me nauseous when I started eating sugar again. I still do after 3 years. But I still am careful with sugar. I have digestive issues and now sometimes I can digest some cookies better than alot of healthy veggies etc. IBS is evil. I need to gain weight. Lol. My pic on here was in Dubai celebrating our 1year Anniversary. Now married 5 yrs in April. His brother named Man of the Year in Dubai. He is an airline Engineer for Emerates. My hubby and I are bankers. But a no sugar thing is so much better for me. Good luck to all!

    I can do without carbs but,no sugar? I workout 4x a week but will indulge in sweets. I just loveeeeeeee my Italian fresh bakery sweets. For fks sake I'm surrounded by the BEST Italian bakeries. I smell the baking from my porch 😂🤣

    My Dr told me no to have any carbs or sugar and the reason why my labs test show that I became pre diabetes and he told that 9 of 10 people will develop diabetes. Righ now so far I have loss 15 pounds.

    It's only for 10 days, then add healthy carbs and quit the old habits. It's that simple. I already phased out sodas, I rarely ever eat fast food anyway and I mostly drink water. Just 10 days. (hey, I didn't say it would be easy, just simple)

    😎🙏OMG, This is such an easy challenge, for 10 days only how about for ever? Hahahahaah. Sugar feeds cancer cells. Not to mention the imbalance. Same as salt. Great initiative from US celebs to educate people about the good healthy benefits on what to eat. However, what’s most staggering is how little people know about that they consume on a daily basis non wonder the the huge health issues in the world. By the way: Much like the healthy fat it contains, the carbs in hummus are complex carbs that are an important part of a well-balanced diet. … Low carb hummus often can contain bad ingredients – just look for a high quality brand, and know that if it's made well, the hummus carbs will be good ones. This is an amazing initiative to educate.

    hey are not specific. if it were truly no carb there it would only be animal products like eggs, fish and meat. The rules of this diet are basically like the Atkins diet
    only non startchy veggies
    nuts and seeds
    non sugar nut butters
    eggs, fish, poultry and meat
    low glycemic fruit like grapefruit and blueberries
    you can have black coffee

    I think this is such a misleading thing to do, and a quick fix. You don't have to cut out carbs or sugar from your diet to get results, this is basically restricting any glucose from your diet, which is not good if you want to maintain muscle. You will loose weight, but once you start eating carbs/sugar your body will hold onto even more weight. And if you are trying to loose weight, you definitely don't have to follow this challenge. Eat in a caloric deficit, exercise and still be able to eat carbs as you do that! I mean props to JLO for doing this, but it's definitely not sustainable and there are plenty of other healthy ways to lose weight. Carbs are not the enemy.
