    I think that this is a bit irresponsible to be mentioning this diet protocol at this stage. Keto "works" in some respects because it lowers the amount of energy circulating in your bloodstream, be it glucose, ketones, or triglycerides. Eating a high carb and high fat diet while also throwing in some exogenous ketones is going to really pack your blood with a lot of energy, and the outcome of that is really not known (hence the study.)

    The exogenous ketone supplement market was formed for some pretty specific circumstances. Eating pizza plus an exogenous ketone shake is pretty risky IMO.
