Keto Meat Lovers Pizza Casserole


– Hey guys, today on
Low Carb with Jennifer, I’m going to show you how I
make my pepperoni pizza skillet. It’s the perfect keto dish. It’s easy; it’s like 30 minutes, and it’s perfect for weeknights
and picky family members if you have some of those
in your household like I do. So let’s get started with this! (upbeat music) So I’ve already got my peppers; and so I’ve got diced green
peppers and diced onion that I’m cooking in the
skillet with some avocado oil, and of course I use frozen ’cause you know you can buy a frozen bag of frozen diced green
peppers for like a dollar, and you know, I like shortcuts. So there’s that and I’m
going to add in some sausage. This is one pound of Italian sausage, and we’ve got one pound of ground beef and I use just mild Italian sausage. It’s not sweet Italian sausage, just plain old Italian sausage. So I’m going to break
this up and brown it, and then okay, now our ground
beef and sausage is all cooked and it had quite a bit of grease in it so we drained that off. So now I’m going to add
in the marinara sauce, a jar of marinara; you
can use any kind you like. Stir this in. Okay, that looks good, and now we can just flatten out this mixture so we can
put our cheese on top. Okay, we’ve got two cups of mozzarella, lots of yummy cheese, extra cheesy. Spread that all around. And we’ve got some Parmesan cheese, some grated Parmesan cheese or shredded, whatever you want to call it. I’m going to turn this heat off, and then I’m going to
put a layer of pepperoni all around the top. I like to put a lot of pepperoni
so I kind of overlap them ’cause they will shrink whenever they cook under the broiler, ’cause that’s
what we’re going to do next. And I’m actually using
turkey pepperoni for this. Don’t hate me, but this already has so much with the ground beef and
the sausage and the cheese, I thought, you know, a
little bit lighter pepperoni is not going to hurt and it
will help in the calorie front. And they’re still zero carbs. Perfect, okay we are going
to put this under the broiler on the center rack in the oven, high broil until it’s nice and bubbly. Your pepperonis get nice and
a little bit crispy on top, and then it’ll be ready! Here is our keto pepperoni
pizza casserole out of the oven. It looks amazing. Look at this cheese, this
melty cheese, oh my gosh. You’ve got to make this
for dinner any weeknight. It only takes you 30 minutes,
and all of your family, even the pickiest member of
