Keto Thin Crust Pizza


Welcome to keto meals and recipes dot com. Today’s recipe is a demonstration of how to make keto thin crust pizza
with examples of Pepperoni, Americana and Sausage
variations
The macronutrient ratio for this pepperoni pizza is 3.1 to 1
with 2.1 grams of total carbs per slice
This demonstration will explain how to use the grain-free pita dough to make a thin crust pizza
You will find the link at the end. As well,
we use the Keto Marinara sauce to make the pizza sauce
which, if you’ve made earlier, you can save some for use as pizza sauce. In
making a pizza, many different kinds of meats are used, but we will use traditional pepperoni and sausage with mozzarella for the base
Take your dough, place it on a large sheet of parchment paper so that you have plenty of room to roll the dough out
Place the second sheet of parchment paper or Saran wrap on top of the dough and then roll until you have an even
One millimeter thick dough. You will get the best results if you roll from the center outward so you don’t end up with overly thin edges
To shape the dough, remove the top cover and use a lid from a large pot, that is about 29
centimeters or 11 1/2 inches in diameter
This diameter will fit nicely inside a standard round
pizza pan. While the lid is in place, remove the ragged dough from the outside of the rim. Now to bake
simply slide the pizza,
parchment and all, onto the pizza pan. If your sheet of parchment paper is too large
trim around the outside of the pizza pan then bake the crust for eight minutes before applying the Marinara sauce. An
alternative to the large pizza is to make personalized pizzas by using a lid that is
about 17 centimeters or 7 inches in diameter
Next, place a half a cup of Marinara sauce onto the dough and spread evenly in a thin layer over the entire surface
Make sure you get it right to the edges. Then sprinkle the grated mozzarella on top of the sauce. At this point,
you choose whether you’re going to use the classic pepperoni or the
sausage. What you add next is up to you
For an Americana pizza, you add slices of raw mushroom or, if you prefer, pre-saute the mushrooms in butter and
then place them on top. Then bake the crust for 10 to 15 minutes in your preheated oven
Before taking it out of the oven,
check to make sure the crust is crispy by lifting part of the bottom, and looking at it to make sure it’s crispy
When it’s done take it out of the oven and slide the parchment and pizza
onto a cutting board. Then let it cool for 5 minutes before cutting it into 8 equal slices. Enjoy!
