It’s interesting that when people have a heart
attack, they’re put on a variety of medications that are designed to stop a second heart attack. And they’re fairly successful. But the one thing that usually is not addressed
in this country, at least not addressed well enough, is nutrition. It turns out that plant-based nutrition has
a large database with several authors and several trials showing that if you’re able
to do plant-based nutrition, you’re going to reduce the risk factors as well as the
burden of plaque that’s in the arteries. This will result in less recurrent events,
less heart failure and less death.
