Philly Cheesesteak Casserole Weekly Keto Recipes


hello and welcome to my weekly videos
every Tuesday I’d like to release a video sharing a recipe that falls into
the keto eating plan today I’m gonna share a recipe Philly Cheesesteak
casserole traditionally a Philly cheesesteak is a sandwich and sandwiches
aren’t really something you eat on a keto diet but it sounded interesting and it’s had a sound with onions and peppers and stuff
like that sounds like a good combination all right uh let me go ahead and show
you that’s all in it I’m starting off with one and a half pounds of ground
beef well it’s close to three one three quarters
but I’m not telling two bell peppers one half of a yellow onion 1
clove of garlic 1 teaspoon of salt seasoned salt four slices of provolone
cheese four large eggs 1/4 cup of heavy cream 1 teaspoon of hot sauce and 1
teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce ok you got the hamburger cooking on medium heat and I’m preheating the oven to 350 degrees and I’ll go ahead and add in the bell
pepper onion garlic and salt I’ll let that cook up until meat is browned and the veggies are tender the meat is browned now so I’ll go ahead and drain rinse that hamburger been rinsed oh so I’ll go ahead and spray this 8 by 8
baking dish and I’ll add the meat into the dish okay I got the meat
in the baking dish now I’ll rip up the cheese and put it over the top of
that meat okay I got the provolone cheese covering the the the meat
mixture there so in here in this bowl I’ll put the eggs in along with the
cream all right now I got the eggs and cream now I’ll put the teaspoon of hot sauce teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce and I’ll get those whisked up until they’re
all smooth okay that’s all been whisked clean and smooth so I’ll go ahead and
pour that over the top of the casserole there now I’ll go ahead and
bake that at 350 for about thirty minutes
okay here’s what it looks like for after it bakes for half an hour and I’ll
let that set for about five minutes before serving it up and come back to it
okay there’s the finished product there and I might let it cool a little bit
further before I put in the freezer bags but yeah the recipe says it makes six
servings but I think I’m just gonna make four out of it
but yeah there’s the final product this smells really good looking forward to
having that and I’m making a lot of hamburger based lately at the
hopefully a lately it’s been either hamburger or chicken but hopefully can
spread a bit more diversity out there if anybody has any suggestions they’re
greatly appreciated and the battery on my camera is dying so I better
