Namaskar. Welcome to nishamadhulika.com Today we will prepare sumptuous pizza puffs, which can be prepared easily. This is a hot favorite among younger generation. So let’s start preparing Pizza Puff. To prepare Pizza puff first of all knead a dough with refined flour. We have taken 2 cup refined flour, add ½ tsp salt to it, 1.5 tsp baking powder, ¼ cup oil, mix all ingredients well. Knead a stiff dough. To knead the dough we have taken chilled water from the refrigerator. Add water in small portions to knead stiff dough. Stiff dough is kneaded and ready. We have used ½ cup water to knead this quantity of dough. Cover and keep the dough aside. After 30 minutes dough will be set and ready, Then we will prepare Pizza puff. Till the dough is set, let’s prepare stuffing for the pizza puff. Add 2 tsp oil to the wok and heat it. Add ½ inch finely chopped ginger to oil. You can also add grated ginger, or ginger paste. Slightly sauté it, add ½ cup finely chopped carrots, ½ cup finely chopped capsicum, ¼ cup sweet corn kernels. Saute the ingredients for a minute while stirring. We have taken 1 finely chopped deseeded tomato, add it too. Mix well. Add ½ tsp salt or to taste, ½ tsp oregano and mix it, add 1 tbsp water to it. Cover and cook the veggies for 2 minutes. After 2 minutes, veggies are cooked and ready. Add 2 tbsp tomato sauce mix it, and cook the veggies for ½ a minute more Stuffing is ready, place it down from flame, and let it cool, Stuffing has cooled now, add ½ cup grated mozzarella cheese, Mix it well. We have only added ginger in the stuffing for the spicy flavor, because we don’t want to make it too spicy. If you prefer making it spicy then you can add 2 finely chopped green chili to it. You can also add chili flakes made from 2 coarsely ground red chilies. Stuffing is ready, place it out in a plate. 30 minutes are over, dough is set and ready. Grease your hand with some oil, and knead the dough again. Now break 3 lumps from the dough to make Pizza puffs. Take a rolling board for rolling out the Pizza puff. Pick a dough ball. Press it and make it round. Roll it slightly thick, slightly big in size. Rolled out sheet is ready, now we will cut it. We need a rectangular sheet, mark it 9 inch in vertically, Cut it like this, you can cut it with a knife too. and keep it 4.5 inch horizontally. Sheet is cut and ready. Divide it into 2 parts, Divide into 2 parts vertically as well. Grease the edges with little water. Place the stuffing over it, place it at the centre. Place on the other sheet as well. Spread the stuffing vertically like this. Leave little space on the edges, to stick the other sheet over it. Lift the other sheet, and stick it edge to edge like this. Stick it at the corners. Stick it same as earlier one. Press it lightly, marking the corners with fork. It sticks well by doing this, and looks good too. Pizza puff is ready, now place it in a tray. Prepare all the pizza puffs likewise. Here we have made a dough ball from the dough scraps to make a pizza puff.
Roll it out the same way but slightly small for the pizza puff. as we are preparing just a single pizza puff. Pizza puffs are ready, place it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes and then fry them. We have taken them out after placing in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Now fry them. To fry them place the oil in wok to heat. Keep the oil medium hot for frying the Pizza puffs. Check if the oil is rightly hot. Put a little dough in the oil, dough is fried, oil is medium hot. Put the pizza puffs in oil, it is floating over oil. It is slightly roasted from below, now flip it. Flip and deep fry it until golden brown from all sides. Pizza puff is golden brown from both sides. Take it out. Hold the allotted ladle on the edge of the wok like this. So that the extra oil drains back to the wok. Place it out in a place. Fry all the Pizza puffs likewise. It takes 6 to 7 minutes to fry all pizza puffs at once. All Pizza puffs are fried and ready. Yummy Pizza puffs are ready, crispy on the outside with soft stuffing on inside. You can serve it with mustard sauce, tomato sauce or any sauce of your choice Making them is really easy.
