Sugar Free Ice Cream Waffle Bowl Recipe – Protein Treats by Nutracelle

hey guys welcome to Protein Treats by
Nutracellel I’m Melanie Wildman and today we are making waffle bowls now this
recipe is based on our crepe recipe and I’m going to put the link below it’s
only three ingredients couldn’t see any easier so you’re going to make up these
crepes as you can see I’ve made some up ahead of time here
and I’m going to take you step by step and show you how easy it is to make
waffle bold you can make these to keep a salad in or you can make them for ice
cream so let’s get started okay so to make this recipe all you’re going to
need are the crepes and I’ve made up six crepes ahead of time and actually we
only have five because my little dog Goku jumped up and managed to run away
with one he absolutely loves Nutralean he gets close at all to anything that
we’re making he’ll make a mad dash for it so I’ve got a happy little puppy
that’s already had his waffle cone but for the rest of us we’ve got five left
and I’m going to show you how easy this is to make i’m just stacking them all on
top of each other like this and i already know how big i want to make my
waffle bowl so i have a I don’t even know what you call it but it’s like a
cookie pan that sort of has a waffle bowl shape on it but if you don’t have
one you can just use a regular muffin tin and you would cut your circles just
a little bit smaller that’s the only difference so what I’m going to do is
I’m going to cut my circle wide enough that it’s going to fit over top of this
upside down so if you were using a muffin tin you would use your muffin tin
upside down so I’m going to use these little their egg rings it’s actually for
when you fry up eggs and you want them to be perfectly round I’m going to use
that as a little bit of a guide and I want mine to be a little bigger than
that so I’m just going to go around the outside here and I’m going to cut them
all at once into the perfect circle that I want to use make sure you’re always cutting away
from yourself and be careful there we go now if you’re wondering what to do with
the extra crepe if you actually cut them into little pieces and go ahead and put
them into the oven they make for really great croutons for salads so if you
don’t want to have it go to waste you can definitely put it in the oven at the
same time that you’re going to do your waffle bowls and you can have awesome
little croutons for your salad so I’m going to move these aside and I’m going
to show you our next step here now that I have these cut the size that I want
and I’ll show you I’m just going to kind of place it over here there’s my cone
shape we need it to actually form to the outside of your muffin tin so the way to
do that is to wet them again so I just have a little pan here and I sold it
with water and I’m going to take each one of these and you’re going to wet
both sides just like this it doesn’t matter if it drips a little bit and I’m
going to go ahead and place it right over my muffin tin and that’s where
these little guys come in handy so you could really use almost anything even a
Tupperware dish but what I want is to have the crepe form a waffle cone shape
so I’m just going to scooch it under there and I’m using the ring to just
weigh it down for a few minutes you don’t have to leave it on for very long
I would say about five minutes and it will actually form that waffle or
waffle bowl shape that you’re looking for
so we’ll do our next one here this side actually is prettier and then just gently tuck it into your
ring there you go and then we’ll do the next one once again just make sure you
wet both sides down can be a little drippy doesn’t matter because we’re
going to put it in the oven there we go all right so now what I’m going to do is
I’m going to put these in the oven at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes and
then I’ll take them out and show you how you have perfect crispy yummy delicious
waffle bowl okay so our waffle cones are five waffle cones are all cooked up here
and they are perfect they’re crispy I am just going to let these cool for a
minute and then we are going to fill them with some ice cream okay so these
are perfect they’re crispy they’re nice and solid so they’ll hold your ice cream
or even some salad in here and I’m just going to scoop a little bit of ice cream
right on here my ice cream has gotten a little bit melty here that’s okay
and I’m going to put that right in here like that look how good this is you guys
this couldn’t be any easier 20 minutes in the oven just using our crepe recipe
and all my goodness so so delicious I’m actually mmm this is really good just
ice creams this is one of our other episodes you’re going to have to check
out our ice cream no turn you do not need a machine so I’ll put the link
below for you guys this oh my goodness this is so good it’s such a huge hit
with our kids at home you are going to love it and of course check out some of

    I have a question..do u suffer from constipation…cause protein smoothies does and if you do ….how do you deal with it…I have the vanilla and it is awesome….TY
