Warm Goat Cheese Salad

[Intro music] This warm goat cheese salad is a traditional recipe from the region of Berry in France. It is commonly served in French Bistro and groceries. It is quick and delicious. Typically, it is made with Crottin de Chavignol If you cannot find the actual Crottin de Chavignol, it can be rare and expensive depending on where you are, you can replace it with the soft, ripe and crumbly goat Crottin of the region. To make the war, goat cheese salad, you will need goat Crottin, butter, pine nuts, cherry tomatoes, balsamic vinegar, curly endive, baguette, salt and freshly ground peppercorns. First of all, start by toasting the pine nuts in the oven at 425 degrees F for a couple of minutes or until golden brown. So place them on a cookie sheet and bake them. Cut 4 slices of bread about half inch thick. Spread them with butter. And place them on a clean cookie sheet. So my butter is soft, it makes the spreading easier. Cut the Crottin in half. And place each half on a piece of bread. Then place in the oven and bake for about 10 minutes until slightly melted and golden. And remove the pine nuts. Nice! Look at them! Then toss the salad with some dressing. Mix the dressing before using it to combine all the flavours. Plate your dish now. So place some curly endives in your plate. Add a few pine nuts. Add the Crottin side by side. And decorate with a few cherry tomatoes. Cut it in half lengthwise. Add the cherry tomatoes around. Warm goat cheese salad. Bon appétit!
