particular actually help you get your glow on! Let’s begin with the skin. The first one is of course – greens! The vitamin E found in green vegetables protects skin cells from free radical damage. Leafy greens contain ‘Folate’ which is
a vital nutrient for DNA repair and the production and maintenance of new cells. Also, leafy greens are rich in beta-carotene, a powerful antioxidant known for its ability to renew and repair the skin. There by getting rid of acne and other skin bacteria. Vitamin C is the darling of most beauty regime’s. It is the preference of many well known personalities because it reduces all the damage caused by pollution, stress, or a poor diet. Free radicals formed by this damage speed up the ageing process, but adequate intake of vitamin C may help slow it down. Kiwi, pomegranate, papaya, amla and orange are good sources of this vitamin . There is a reason why using coconut oil is
actually ‘trendy’ these days. It’s inarguably the best moisturizer out there, and the only one you’d ever need due to its antibacterial and antifungal properties. Next, let’s move on to the hair. The colourful red, yellow and green bell peppers contain vitamin C, and this humble water soluble vitamin ensures that there is enough iron in red blood cells to carry oxygen to the hair follicles in order to help it grow longer and stronger. It is also used to form collagen, a structural fibre that your hair is made of, so boosting up the amount is ideal for hair follicles to stay healthy. Vitamin C deficiency can
lead to dry, splitting hair that breaks easily. Healthy hair starts with a healthy scalp. Omega–3 fatty acids, are found in abundance in nuts like almonds and walnuts, and help prevent dryness, itchiness, and flakiness promoting hair growth.
